A2Z Resilience - CPD Member Case Study

We have been asking our members from across the industries the reasons why they became a CPD provider. This CPD Member case study was provided by A2Z Resilience. For more information, please visit their CPD Member Directory page.

Please provide us with a brief overview of your organisation. What do you do?

A2Z provides training and exercises in Crisis Management and Business Continuity, along with other consultancy services.

Why did you become a CPD provider?

A2Z acknowledges the necessity for CPD-accredited training for individuals responsible for public protection. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is essential as it ensures that learning is acknowledged, structured, and effective, contributing to the professional growth of both organisations and individuals while aligning with industry standards and expectations.

How did you implement CPD accreditation in your organisation?

A2Z reached out to The CPD Certification Service to explore the benefits of CPD accreditation and inquire about how the company could integrate it into its core offerings. These core offerings included a range of training courses primarily for emergency services and other responders who have a duty to 'save life and reduce harm'.

Following this discussion, A2Z reviewed and revised its training packages to ensure these met the criteria for submission and accreditation. This model is applied annually as new training courses are developed.

How has CPD helped your organisation achieve its learning objectives?

The CPD Certification Service has consistently provided guidance and clear direction. Organisations are hesitant to book attendance-based courses because they often provide little in terms of quality-assured training. A2Z collaborated closely with them to ensure high-quality training, which proved to be one of our best decisions made.

We hope this brief CPD Member Case Study was both interesting and helpful. Please go to the A2Z Resilience CPD Member profile page for more on their available CPD.
