We have been asking our members from across the industries the reasons why they became a CPD provider. This CPD Member case study was provided by Black Boots Technology. For more information, please visit their CPD Member Directory page.
Please provide us with a brief overview of your organisation. What do you do?
We specialise in innovative AI-powered SaaS solutions designed to enhance the built environment. We aim to streamline and simplify industry-wide challenges. Our collaborative approach, incorporating expertise in AI, fire safety, and structural engineering has enabled us to develop robust and reliable solutions that meet the evolving needs of the built environment.
Why did you become a CPD provider?
We became a CPD provider because we're committed to empowering professionals in the building safety sector with the knowledge they need to make a real difference. While CPD accreditation is widely recognised and provides a valuable framework, our motivation goes beyond simply offering training. We believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning and proactive improvement. We see building safety not just as a compliance requirement, but as a fundamental responsibility. By delivering high-quality, accredited CPD content on critical building safety matters, we seek to elevate industry standards, drive tangible impact, and cultivate a safer built environment.
How did you implement CPD accreditation in your organisation?
Our software is designed to simplify the complex process of safety case reporting. However, we consistently found that many prospective users lacked a complete safety case due to uncertainty regarding full compliance requirements. To address this knowledge gap, we developed a comprehensive webinar to provide clear guidance on compliance. We then secured CPD accreditation for the safety case webinar, ensuring it meets professional development standards.
How has CPD helped your organisation achieve its learning objectives?
CPD has been crucial in our ability to deliver consistently high-quality educational webinars. It has significantly deepened our audience's knowledge of safety case development, providing them with the resources to compile compliant safety cases. This, in turn, strengthens their ability to meet legislative requirements. CPD has also reinforced our commitment to a culture of continuous learning within our organisation and among our audience.
