Bolster Systems - CPD Member Case Study

We have been asking our members from across the industries the reasons why they became a CPD provider. This CPD Member case study was provided by Bolster Systems. For more information, please visit their CPD Member Directory page.

Please provide us with a brief overview of your organisation. What do you do?

Bolster Systems is a cloud-based platform built to digitise and streamline building compliance such as fire stopping, compartmentation, and passive fire protection workflows. It replaces outdated, paper-based or siloed processes with a centralised system for recording, tracking, and reporting compliance works carried out on-site. The platform is designed to support contractors, inspectors, and clients across the full lifecycle of a project, from installation to handover and on-going maintenance.

Why did you become a CPD provider?

At Bolster Systems, we believe that innovation in construction technology must be paired with education and accessibility. Becoming a CPD provider allowed us to share our expertise in digital compliance, fire safety documentation, and operational best practices with a wider audience. It’s our way of supporting continuous learning in the industry and helping professionals stay ahead of regulatory changes and digital transformation. By contributing to the CPD ecosystem, we aim to raise standards and empower teams with the knowledge they need to work smarter and safer.

How did you implement CPD accreditation in your organisation?

We started by looking at the questions we kept getting from clients and contractors, things like how to stay compliant, how to document firestopping properly, and how digital tools could help simplify the process. From there, we built sessions that were genuinely useful and reflected what was happening on the ground. It’s been a great way for us to share what we know while supporting learning across the industry.

How has CPD helped your organisation achieve its learning objectives?

It’s helped us put more structure around how we share what we know. We’ve always aimed to make complex things like compliance and digital documentation easier to understand, and CPD gave us a framework to do that properly. It’s also been a good way to keep ourselves learning, making sure we stay up to date and can explain things clearly. Overall, it’s made our training more focused and useful, both for our clients and for our own team.
