"Community Participation and Development (CPD) has been working since 1993 which was initiated by a group of local enthusiastic social workers with a view of uplift the social and economic conditions of distressed women, Children and youth of different areas of Bangladesh. It has been implementing programs with the disadvantaged people, like childcare, health, women empowerment, adolescent development, skill development training, vocational skills training, apprenticeship and job placement for the graduated children through CSR, basic education, pre-schooling, Non Formal Education (NFE), soft skill/life skill/Employability and income generating activities."

OUR MISSION
CPD works in Bangladesh for social and economic empowerment of the disadvantaged women, children, and youth in an integrated approach. CPD implements different activities to ensure quality education, health, well-being, and rights considering employment generation, combating trafficking, disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation and mobilization of skilled staff members. CPD coordinates with local government and local administration to develop the livelihoods of disadvantaged children, youth, and women.
OUR VISSION
Empowerment of disadvantaged community, particularly women, adolescents and children under urban & rural areas in Bangladesh through increasing their living capacity for poverty reduction, and social security towards good governance.
ORGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVES

To raise the awareness and knowledge level of women, children and youth to promote their fundamental rights.

To build capacities of the target people through implementation of education and skill development training for the improvement of their lives.

To make advocacy and networking in relevant fields both at the local and national level for establishing child rights.

To create self-employment by providing credit facilities & wage employment scope for women, adolescent and youth.

To ensure community involvement towards program sustainability.
